Terms Of Sale

  • When you use Kumarasinghe Radio Institute website and mobile platform you are bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
  • The order is only valid for the product mentioned.
  • Certain products and wholesale orders will have to be collected from our shop.
  • Island wide delivery is available at an additional cost for specified products only.
  • Kumarasinghe Radio Institute will not be responsible for lost or stolen coupons.
  • Kumarasinghe Radio Institute  management reserves the right to decide about the replacement of products for which there is no warranty.
  • Apart from wholesale orders orders cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.

Returns

  • Once conformation of transaction is sent by email or sms by Kumarasinghe Radio Institute to the buyer we can’t offer a refund or exchange.
  • Any issue related to any product should be brought to the notice of Kumarasinghe Radio Institute within 2 days of the purchase.
  • Kumarasinghe Radio Institute management reserves the exclusive right to decide on refunding or replacing a product.
  • Store pickup orders will be cancelled automatically if the payment is not done within 3 working days. 

Warranty

  • For warranty items, to be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
  • For warranty items, to complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Temporarily Out of Stock

  • Due to popularity, within the last 10 hours we have exhausted our current inventory of this product. 
  • However, back orders are being taken and will ship once the product is available.
  • The email will also provide you with information on how to cancel the order if you would prefer not to wait for the item to be in stock again. 
  • Most out of stock items are in stock again within 2 days. 

Refunds (if applicable)

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. 
  • We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
  • There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 2 days after delivery

1. Instant Refunds
Refunds issued within the purchased day is an Instant Refund.
An Instant Refund immediately gets refunded back to you as a Void in real-time.
Most Instant Refunds, you will receive the full amount charged from you, in some cases you might have to bear payment gateway charges see section (3) below.

2. Delayed Refunds
Refunds issued after the day is purchased is an Delayed Refund.
A Delayed Refund can take up to 5-10 days to get refunded back to you due to its been paid out to our bank account by the payment gateway system.
Most delayed Refunds, you will receive the full amount charged from you, in some cases you might have to bear payment gateway charges see section (3) below.

3 Payment gateway charges and Refunds
When we issue refunds, depending on the payment gateway you might have to bear payment gateway charges, as some payment gateway provide does not refund it to us.

The charges are 3.5% of total order plus payment processing charge Rs 50/-

For example
For a Rs. 1000/- order
Payment processing charge 1 = 3.5 percent of Rs 1000 is = Rs 35/-
Payment processing charge 2 = Rs 50/-
Refund amount = Rs 915/-

4 Shipping charges and Refunds
Unless you return goods to our shop in person, the cost of moving goods back to our store will have to be bear by you. Due to shipping companies does not issue refunds for returns.

5 Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item call us 077716808, after our confirmation and receiving a return note you can send your item to: No. 87/3, 1st Cross Street, Pettah, Sri Lanka.

1 Payment gateway charges and Exchanges
During an exchange if we need to issue refunds, depending on the payment gateway you might have to bear payment gateway charges, as some payment gateway provide does not refund it to us.
